A Mysterious Past and a Worrying Future
The party starts under the mall after taking the elevator to the basement. They hear sounds like people talking and move to investigate.
The group comes across an eladrin in a business outfit who seems to recognize Katrina. She seems to fan-girl over Katrina, showing the group security footage of Katrina fighting from back in the mall.
Something is off about the footage, as Katrina looks blurred in the footage, as if she was censored out. Moki and Kate are then informed of "celebrity glamours", which help mask a wearer from photos or videos.
The group notices that Brock also looks different in this footage, though not in the same way. He is not blurred but looks completely different. He did not use a glamour, but instead, disguise self.
The eladrin brings up Katrina's company, Calico Sunrise, and the group is also made aware of her relationship as the "daughter" of the CEO of Adventures n Ventures.

A female dhampir, who insulted Moki by beginning her communication with a cast of "Speak with Animals"

The group informs us of a small portion of Katrina's history, the prestigious academy she went to, about the godsteel greatsword in its courtyard that nobody could pull. Whoever could pull it was to be the next grandmaster of the academy. For an unknown reason, Katrina had gotten into a fight with the grandmaster and injured him to the point he was forced to retire, and then pulled the sword on her own, and leaving. This ruined the sword tradition for the entire academy.
After enough talk, the groups fight, though the Leonin doesn't seem to want to, and early on, the dhampir turns Moki into a hampter. Moki is forced to scurry, as the goliath attempts to banish Kate. Oddly, the banishment spell's effect seems to be distorted...as if it were being hijacked by someone else.
The goliath succeeds in banishing Kate on his second try, the distortion returns in a hellish way, banishing Kate to the hells to meet Audrey to discuss her performance.
Back in the fight, Moki continues to scurry around and avoid attacks as a dank fog rolls in. Green, the last remaining member of the Shadow Wizard Money Gang shows up to help Moki in the fight, restoring her form.
Moki takes the opportunity to slowly walk up to the dhampir, dragging her axe on the floor and crashing it down onto her, smiting her. Nearly killing her immediately.
Green attacks, hitting all 3 in one spell and the Leonin joins the fight. Moki and Green continue to fight off the others until Katrina returns, killing the dhampir. The dhampir is revived shortly after.
Back in the hells, Kate is told she can summon a spirit to vouch for her, and so she summons Skab. She learns that Skab's body right now is held under gentle repose, meaning his body cannot be taken, but his spirit can be. Audrey tells Kate she'll see what she can do, and also informs her that Asmodeus is on the verge of being replaced. Something about "Big A is taking the big L"
Kate is returned to the mall basement and rejoins with Moki and Green, and the party makes a move to leave. The party is approached from all sides as they approach the doors, the colossus was waiting outside and the trio continued following.
Moki distracts the colossus with a minor illusion of her voice calling out to it from further in the parking lot and the group makes a run for it, getting away undetected.
Green leads the group to an abandoned Toys 'R' Us where they all stay in the break room to hide out. The group is alerted by a metallic sound and a bright red light pointing to the ceiling.
It seems to be looking for something. The group hides in the break room, making sure to avoid being seen, and the construct makes its way into the break room. Kate attempts to strike it, only for it to mention that it hurt in a voice that sounded like Skab's.
Skab has returned to the party, and sees Katrina, commenting on how she's all grown up.
Concerningly, the party also opts to check in on Ray and his family now that they have reception and notice some texts saying that he was going to Seaworld on behalf of his therapist, to see the good side of fish and reconnect followed by another text saying that Seaworld is haunted.
Moki check's his wife's facebook and notice a picture she uploaded of Ray, his son, and his wife, in front of a whale in a tank behind them saying how happy they were to be spending time together as a family.
Moki sees something off in this, noting that the couple also has a daughter who is missing from the picture.
She messages Ray asking where his daughter was, linking the post. He doesn't immediately respond, but after a while, his typing bubbles show up, and then disappear.
Moki then tries to ask his wife, asking "Is everything okay? Someone's missing from your pic." His wife responds, "You're right! The other whale was busy doing a show, so we could only get a pic with this one!"
As Moki was about to clarify, she was interrupted by a text from Ray, saying "DON'T!" She responds to Ray, asking what's happening over there."
All she gets back is: "I DON'T KNOW BUT NONE OF IT'S RIGHT. I WON'T LEAVE UNTIL IT'S RIGHT." "MY HEAD MY HEAD MY HEAD MY HEAD MY HEAD MY HE-"

Moki shows the picture to Kate and Katrina. Katrina immediately sees something in the picture and visibly reacts. Moki asks what she sees, she responds saying that they should go help Ray, and cryptically that it's better they don't know what she sees.
She hands both Kate and Moki a vial of dirt, telling them they'll know what to do with it.
